MAX EMFINGER ALL-AMERICAN BOWL SUPER COMBINE SERIES
In order to see and evaluate more and more players, Max Emfinger will host at least six major All-American Bowl Game Super Combines Series in the spring and summer of 2010. These six or seven events are scheduled to take place in Mobile/Bay Minette, Alabama; Plaquemine, Louisiana; Baton Rouge/New Orleans, Louisiana; and Birmingham/HooverAlabama; Pensacola, Florida; and Duncan, South Carolina. Emfinger will also attend another Super Combine in Dallas, Texas and The Battle of the Trenches Linemen Camp @ Hinds Community College on June 17-18. Emfinger will get to evaluate as many as 5,000 players in these events. In each Combine or Camp, Emfinger will select some deserving 2010 senior Super Combine Freaks to participate in his SEVENTH ANNUAL 2011 ALL-AMERICAN BOWL GAME CLASSIC.
ATTENTION
As a High School Super Scout for almost 40 years, my experience is that it is extremely difficult to get on a College Coaches Recruiting List. If you are not on that Recruiting List in the spring before your senior season, then your chances are very slim that you will ever get on that College Coaches Recruiting List.
Although it is difficult, it is not impossible, but you need to do some things that will make a College Coach take notice of you and your potential to help his team win on Saturday. The Super Combines are a way for you to get noticed if you do well.
It is also very important for you to be prepared before you go to a Super Combine to be tested. If you are not prepared and you do poorly, then you are adding more reasons for a college coach to pass, on recruiting you for his college football team.
A Super Combine like the one that we are getting ready to have, only comes around every so often in your area and if you are a serious HS football player who would like to play at the next level, you must take full advantage of this opportunity that has been given to you. You also need to wear proper shoes and attire to be successful. For you Underclassmen, this will give you a chance for future success by participating early in these events.
For this reason, I would try to get with a personal trainer or a speed trainer and work with him for a couple weeks before you go to this Super Combine. This way, you will be able to put-up some great numbers and get yourself a great MEARS ASSET RATING. I will have available, at the Super Combine, a list of the current Hall of Honor Fabulous 50 Players with their MEARS ASSET RATINGS that have already committed to play in the 2010 All-American Bowl Game Classic. With a lot of hard work and dedication, you also may be able to make this this Fabulous 50 Hall of Honor List for the 2010 All-American Bowl Game Classic.
God Bless!
Max Emfinger
MAX EMFINGER’S ALL-AMERICAN BOWL GAME SUPER COMBINE FREAKS WITH THEIR ASSET RATINGS
In order to see and evaluate more and more players, Max Emfinger will host a few major All-American Bowl Game Super Football Combines in the spring and summer; plus he will attend a few more. Emfinger will get to evaluate as many as 5,000 players in these events. In each Combine that Emfinger attends, he will select some Super Combine Freaks who are deserving senior players to participate in his All-American Bowl Game Classic. In 2010, Emfinger has plans to attend or host as many Combines as he can. This will extend to cities all across the country.
WHAT IS THE ASSET RATING SYSTEM?
ASSET stands for Agility, Strength, Stamina, Explosiveness, and Technique. These are the essential tools for superior athletic performance in any competitive event. This new ASSET RATING SYSTEM identifies overall athletic ability and will be used by top college coaches and trainers around the country as an initial indicator of an athletes potential on the football field. This Formula is based on each Individual Player Position and is based on a Medium Standard for that Position.
Forty-Yard Dash – The Forty-yard dash (40) is a test of raw speed, stamina, and explosiveness. It is a test of pure speed from Point A to Point B. Technique is also very important. This is a very good test of measure for all skill players who may have to run 40-yards within the course of a football game.
Vertical Jump – The Vertical Jump (VJ) is a test of leg explosiveness, power, and quickness. Technique is also very important in this test. This test is a good measure for wide receivers, cornerbacks, and safeties.
Pro-Agility Shuttle – The Pro-Agility Shuttle (SH) is a test of agility, speed, lateral quickness, change of direction, and overall body coordination. Technique is also very important is this test. An athlete should be able to do this test in about two seconds faster than he can run a forty-yard dash.
Standing Broad Jump – The Standing Broad Jump (SBJ) is a test that is similar to the Vertical Jump in that it measures how far you can jump instead of how high. It is also similar to the long jump in track, except the player will not get a running start, but rather jump from a standing position. It measures explosion, power, quickness, and lower body strength. This test is a great measure for running backs, linemen, tight ends, and linebackers.
Bench Press – The Bench Press (BP) is a test of pure strength and stamina. The test measures how many bench press reps an athlete can do of 185 pounds. Technique is also very important. This test is a good measure for every player on the football field although quarterbacks, wide receivers and cornerbacks do not need to excel in this event.
Technique - Technique is also very important in every single event, especially in the running events. The pro-agility shuttle is all technique. Getting a bad start in the other running events can make the difference in a great timing and a poor timing. The ASSET RATING SYSTEM Formula, developed by Max Emfinger, a former Super Scout with the Dallas Cowboys, is based on the following Player Standards for each position:
HOW DOES THE ASSET RATING SYSTEM WORK?
